History
According to scholars, the trombone was created in 1400, and appeared in Northern Italy and southern France. Other scholars argue that it was created in Germany because that's where it was manufactured. The trombone is claimed to be invented by a man named Heinrich Stölzel. The trombone has evolved so much since then, "In the 1870's, Adolphe Sax and other instrument builders made a six-valve trombone, where the six valves, manipulated by both hands, corresponded to the six slide positions."(Greg Monks). The trombone used to be made of antler with finger wholes like a trumpet, now there are made from bronze and silver with a full functioning slide.
This is a earlier trombone. It is made of bronze and has cool decoration on it.
